In 2017 Landbay signed HM Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter in an effort to promote a balanced and fair workplace within the financial services industry.
Commits firms to supporting the progression of women into senior roles in the financial services sector by focusing on the executive pipeline and the mid-tier level.
Recognises the diversity of the sector and that firms will have different starting points – each firm should therefore set its own targets and implement the right strategy for their organisation; and
Requires firms to publicly report on progress to deliver against these internal targets to support the transparency and accountability needed to drive change.
As part of the charter, we have documented progress with our commitments:
• There will be a minimum of one female representative on every interview panel throughout 2016-7. Target achieved.
• For any additions to executive management or board of directors, at least one woman must be shortlisted. There has been no movement in our board since the charter was signed.
• We will put in place a formal maternity & paternity leave plan. A maternity and paternity leave plan has been drafted.
