We love hearing more about our lenders, their stories and what attracted them to invest in peer-to-peer lending. In this Q&A session we caught up with Divyan. We asked him about his experiences with peer-to-peer lending and how important investments are to him.
What first attracted you to invest in peer-to-peer lending?
With the current lack of interest rates on bank savings, I reviewed Landbay and found it to be a reliable and sound investment with a little risk involvement.
How long have you been investing in peer-to-peer?
For about a year now.
How important are investments to you in the current stage of your life?
Investments are cyclical and with the current rates of return I get from investing with Landbay I believe I am getting a good deal. I am studying the performance of my investment with Landbay, and considering further investment.
What financial goals are you looking to achieve from your investment?
I view my investment with Landbay as a capital return for income which is better than other funds where returns are a bit lower.
How do you find peer–to-peer investing compared to more traditional savings?
Although there is limited risk, P2P appears to be a sound investment compared to other options and it is great that it is regulated by the FCA.
When choosing a peer-to-peer platform to lend on, what were the important things you looked for?
A good rate of return and simple to set up the account online. Landbay replies to any email enquiries promptly.
Where did you hear about us and why did you choose to invest with Landbay?
From Google reviews and also from an advertisement in the media.
Are you considering opening an IFISA with Landbay?
Not currently, but it is something I would consider in the future if my investment continues without defaults.
Would you recommend Landbay to a friend, family member or colleague? If yes, have you done so already?
Do you have any additional feedback regarding your experience with Landbay?
In the short time I have been investing with Landbay I have been impressed by Landbay’s investment products. I believe Landbay is a good recommendation to the public and hope it goes from strength to strength to provide better returns with minimum risk involvement.
